Retrofitting new, more energy efficient heating systems plays a key role in the decarbonisation of properties. Heat pumps work by capturing heat from outside and moving it inside, and because the system doesn’t burn any fuel there are no carbon dioxide emissions. Heat pumps lower energy consumption, reduce emissions and conserve water.
